:OBJECTIVE
Develop a cohesive photography series that tells a clear and consistent visual story through theme, tone, and imagery.
For my photography series, I chose to create a coffee table book that tells a visual story of the human body through close-up shots, unconventional poses, and raw, unfiltered imagery, capturing the often forgotten beauty of the human form.

Each body is beautiful in its own right, not because it meets conventional standards, but because it was intentionally crafted in the image of God. Through this photo book, I hoped to honor that truth by representing a wide range of bodies and insecurities, so that every viewer might see themselves in these images and feel seen, celebrated, and beautiful.

I chose black and white photography to heighten contrast and draw the viewer’s eye toward the rawness and beauty found in imperfection, creating a more intimate connection amongst my audience.
However, I strongly considered using color, as skin tone is deeply important in conversations about identity and representation.
